Phillips-led Lady Devils looking for improvement
The Water Valley Lady Blue Devils basketball team is hoping to take the program to another level heading into their second year under coach Jason Purdy.

Water Valley’s Lady Blue Devils traveled to Mooreville Tuesday and earned a surprising 56-41 win over the Lady Troopers in the first round of the Region 2-3A Tournament. C.C. The Water Valley boys’ basketball team overcame a slow start to post a 60-52 win over North Pontotoc in the team’s final home game of the season Thursday night.
