Community comes together to renew nature

A group of concerned citizens has paired with the developers of the Faulkner Flats project and Strawberry Plains Audubon Center to restore the natural habitat on a section of Whirlpool trails that had been damaged by the development on Old Taylor Road. (October 19, 2014, Page 1A)

Mid-town Farmers’ Market certified

The Mississippi Department of Agriculture and Commerce officially recognized the Mid-Town Farmer’s Market as part of its certification program recently. The market meets on Wednesdays from noon to 5:30 and Saturdays from 7  to 11 a.m. (June 30, 2011, Page 2)
