Lady Chargers roll to two wins
Oxford’s win over crosstown rival Lafayette carried over to the inaugural Mississippi-Alabama Challenge Friday and Saturday night in the OHS gym. The Lady Chargers defeated the visiting teams from Alabama convincingly to improve to 11-2 on the season. The Lady Chargers beat Oxford (Ala.) on Friday 58-37 and then trounced LaFayette 86-20 on Saturday night to wrap up a 3-0 week. (more…) (December 17, 2012, Page 2B)
