Hill: OHS wants to fill coaching vacancy ‘as soon as possible’

Johnny Hill hasn’t gotten far in his search to find his son’s replacement, but his patience is already wearing thin. Oxford’s football coach is looking for a new defensive backs coach and co-defensive coordinator after Jake Hill was hired to be the head coach at New Albany last week following the resignation of Ron Price. Three OHS athletes tabbed for Hasselman Award

Oxford High School handed out their annual Hasselman award at the end of the school year and for the second time in the award’s history there was a tie. Ethan Holmes and Kendall Jenkins finished in a deadlock after votes were tallied in the boys category. There was not as much drama when votes were counted for the girls award as Brandy Batoon won it. (July 3, 2014, Page 6)
