Chargers clip Jackets to win 5A series

There have been bigger crowds turn out to watch games in the history of Oxford-University Stadium but the atmosphere and the post-game celebration demonstrated by the Oxford Chargers on Monday is going to be hard for the Ole Miss Rebels to top. Pregame scuffle fuels Oxford’s win

The momentum gained by the Oxford Chargers with two impressive wins over the weekend came to an abrupt halt Tuesday at Edwin Moak Field. Oxford failed to score with the bases loaded three times in the first game of its best-of-three MHSAA Class 5A playoff series with Starkville and the end result was a 6-5 setback. Oxford tops Amory, Tupelo in playoff prep

Oxford ended the regular season on a high with two impressive wins over Tupelo and Amory. The Chargers enter their MHSAA Class 5A playoff series against Starkville coming off a 2-0 win over Tupelo Friday and a 6-3 win over Amory in eight innings on Saturday afternoon. The two wins improved the Chargers to 22-6 overall.

Chargers rally to defeat West Point

OHS Chargers pound New Hope, one win from Division 2-5A title
