OHS continues to play well at right time
A fourth straight victory in Division 2-5A play for the Oxford Chargers Tuesday evening came in the form of a 10-0 shutout of West Point at Edwin Moak Field.

Oxford’s Chargers received an early Easter present in the form of a 7-6 come-from-behind win over New Hope Wednesday night at Edwin Moak Field. The final Crosstown Classic baseball game of 2013 was not for those with an early curfew.

Chargers overcome cold to finish 3-0 in Amory
Cold winter weather wasn’t enough to slow down the Oxford baseball from winning three games in the Amory Tournament. The Chargers improved to 5-1 on the season thanks to three wins in the tournament. Oxford defeated Tupelo 6-4 Friday night and then defeated East Union 4-2 and Itawamba AHS 5-4 on Saturday.
