Local students show patriotism in essay contest
The Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary and local veteran organizations honored the winners in this year’s Voice of Democracy Speech competition for high school students and the Patriot’s Pen Essay contest for middle school students Tuesday night at an awards ceremony.
