STATEMENT MADE: Lady Rebels knock off No. 18 Georgia, 55-52

The Ole Miss women’s basketball team was wanting to put the rest of the Southeastern Conference on notice that it was no longer the bottom dweller of the league as it’s been in recent years. LEXINGTON, Ky. — Senior forward Tia Faleru picked up her fourth straight double-double with 21 points and 13 rebounds as the Ole Miss women’s basketball team gave the No. 11 Kentucky Wildcats all they could handle in a 64-58 win in Lexington. Sisk in line to start tonight’s exhibition for Lady Rebels

It hasn’t taken Erika Sisk long to prove herself. The former Oxford High standout officially joined the Ole Miss’ women’s basketball team as a scholarship player back in April and has put together a solid summer and preseason camp.
