Lady Rebels hoping to use speed to top UT

Size versus speed — that’s one of the ways the Ole Miss women’s basketball team is viewing its matchup against No. 5 Tennessee on Sunday.

A week ago, it was Ole Miss’ team speed and ability to flip the court that made the difference in it’s come-from-behind victory over Vanderbilt.

This weekend, the Lady Rebels (8-5 overall, 1-0 Southeastern Conference) will once again need to rely on their quickness if they want to have a chance at upsetting the Lady Vols (13-2, 1-0) in Knoxville, Tenn. (January 7, 2011, Page 7A)
