Oxford High School quarterback Parker Adamson didn’t get off to an ideal start in Friday’s season opener against Grenada at Bobby Holcomb Field, throwing interceptions on two of his team’s first three possessions with one of them getting returned for a touchdown.
Adamson and his teammates didn’t let the slow start and 12-0 first-period deficit shake them, however, as they rallied to post a 28-22 victory in the battle of Charger lineups.
