Lafayette advances to third round with 2-1 win
BLOG: In a span of six outs, Lafayette and Amory scored all three of tonight’s runs.
As it turned out, the Commodores’ two runs in the third were all the home team needed to defeat Amory 2-1 at W.V. Brewer Field.

‘Dores clean up MAC awards in 4A
Three days after claiming a second Class 4A state title, the Lafayette Commodores were on top of the football world in Mississippi.
Lafayette’s 16-0 record garnered them a final ranking of No. 1 in the final prep football poll released by the Associated Press Wednesday. LHS received five votes for No. 1, while Olive Branch, who won the 6A title, also claimed five votes to finish in a tie with the Commodores as the top team in the state.
