Rebels stay calm, roll over Longhorns

AUSTIN, Texas — Ole Miss’ next step as a program under coach Hugh Freeze came at the expense of the tailspinning Texas Longhorns.

Rebels have mixed results against SEMO

For a half of Saturday’s home opener against Southeast Missouri, the No. 25 Ole Miss Rebels looked like a team that could have easily covered the 52-point spread oddsmakers made them. Sophomore linebacker Denzel Nkemdiche and junior offensive guard Aaron Morris were both injured against Vanderbilt in the season opener last week. Wide receiver Laquon Treadwell was also honored by the Southeastern Conference as the top freshman thanks to nine receptions made against Vanderbilt. (September 3, 2013, Page 6)
