Ole Miss rallies, walks off in 10th to sweep Bulldogs

Ole Miss’ first sweep of its in-state rival in half a decade came in dramatic fashion. The Rebels erased a five-run deficit in the bottom of the ninth and won on Nic Perkins’ walk-off single in the 10th to beat Mississippi State, 8-7, in front of a packed house Saturday at Oxford-University Stadium. (May 10, 2015, Page 2B)

Robinson’s late knock pushes Rebs past MSU

Sophomore shortstop Errol Robinson drove in a career-high three runs, all with two outs, including what proved to be the game-winning run in the eighth inning, to lift Ole Miss to a 4-3 win over Mississippi State on Thursday night. (May 8, 2015, Page 1B)

Alabama routs Rebels in finale to salvage series

The Ole Miss baseball team got good outings from their first two weekend starters. The same could not be said for the third. Freshman Will Stokes lasted less than an inning in 13-4 loss to Alabama Sunday afternoon at Oxford-University Stadium. The win salvaged the series for the Crimson Tide (23-20, 8-13 Southeastern Conference) after getting swept by Ole Miss (23-22; 10-11) in Saturday’s twinbill. (April 27, 2015, Page 6)

Rebel sweep DH, take series from Alabama

The Ole Miss baseball team was in search of consistency — and wins. They got a little of one and two of the other as the Rebels swept a doubleheader against Alabama with a 4-0 win in the nightcap Saturday at Oxford-University Stadium. (April 26, 2015, Page 1B)

Ole Miss splits DH, drops series at Auburn

AUBURN, Ala. — The Ole Miss baseball team ended its weekend by splitting a doubleheader with Auburn Saturday afternoon at Plainsman Park. Ole Miss holds on for series win over No. 1 Vanderbilt

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – One night after rallying behind four runs in the ninth and coming back to win a 16-inning thriller, the Ole Miss baseball team maintained the momentum by taking down No. 1 Vanderbilt for the second-straight game, 5-4, to claim a big SEC series on the road. With a victory over the Commodores (28-9, 11-4 SEC), the defending national champions, the Rebels (18-18, 7-8 SEC) improve to an impressive 5-4 against No. 1 teams in 2015. (April 12, 2015, Page 2B)

Vanderbilt blanks Ole Miss in opener

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Facing a No. 1 team for the seventh time this season, the Ole Miss baseball team suffered a 6-0 setback to top-ranked Vanderbilt Thursday night. The Rebels (16-18, 5-8 SEC) were held scoreless for the first time since May 10, 2014, a span of 52 games. (April 10, 2015, Page 6A)

Ole Miss’ Robinson adjusting to leadership role

The Ole Miss baseball team has a new look to it this season. Gone are the veteran players like Will Allen, Austin Anderson and Auston Bousfield. What is left is a team comprised of young, new faces due to a high number of junior college transfers. For this reason, shortstop Errol Robinson is viewed as one of the leaders on and off the field. He is also in the middle of his sophomore season. (April 8, 2015, Page 2B)

Diamond Rebels welcome Tennessee looking to start turnaround

The midway point of the season has arrived for the Ole Miss baseball team. From where the Rebels sit, they are still in the mix when it comes to the goals they set out to achieve at the onset of the year. After the come-from-behind victory at Memphis on Tuesday, many feel the turnaround from an inconsistent season started there, but that is too small a sample size to determine if the Rebels (15-14, 4-5 Southeastern Conference) have turned the corner just yet. (April 3, 2015, Page 6A, 7A)

The Rebels (15-14) recorded 13 hits, including seven with two outs, to claim the midweek win over the Tigers (17-7). (April 1, 2015, Page 1B)
