DB Herod headed to play for Rangers

‘Dores football stats year with 3 road games
Lafayette fans wishing to see the Commodores play on the gridiron to the start the year in 2013 will have to do it on the road. LHS coach Eric Robertson finalized his schedule for the upcoming season late last week. The Commodores, who finished the 2012 season with a 10-3 overall mark, will play the first three games of the season away from William L. Buford Stadium.
Lafayette will open the year at Tupelo on Aug. 23 against first-year coach Trent Hammond, who was hired Wednesday after spending four seasons in Amory. (December 13, 2012, Page 8)
