Lafayette has traditionally had a strong and productive offensive line that has been anchored by a key player that has the ability to not only run block effectively, but also protect the quarterback from any harm.
Usually that lineman has been a senior, an upperclassman that has earned his position through the course of time. Right tackle Eli Johnson fits the mold of a veteran LHS lineman, and while he may just be a sophomore, he has as much experience as he does since he started as a freshman. BLOG — Darrius Liggins, one of Oxford High’s top defensive players in 2012, is headed to play at Mississippi State. The 6-foot-4, 240-pound defensive end was offered a scholarship from MSU coach Dan Mullen a week ago after a strong showing at camp. He accepted the offer to play for the Bulldogs earlier today.
