Good sportsmanship adds to local rivalry

One of the really good things about the Oxford-Lafayette football rivalry, particularly the last few years, is the way fans have banded together to cheer for the crosstown rival after their early-season meeting. Crosstown rivalry’s history keeps growing

It’s time for yet another Crosstown Classic football matchup as Lafayette’s Commodores travel just a couple of miles to take on the Oxford Chargers in a Thursday night TV game from Bobby Holcomb Field.
