BASEBALL PREVIEW: Devils enter 2015 with questions at key positions

Water Valley has turned into a regular participant in the MHSAA Class 3A playoffs. Getting back to the postseason is going to require contributions from some new faces in new places. Gone are shortstop Cole Camp and catcher Taylor Smith, who combined for eight years of starting experience before their eligibility ran out. Palmer in a 90-83 victory Friday on Senior Night at the WVHS gym. (February 15, 2015, Page 4B)

Water Valley applied full-court pressure after every made basket, greeted every ball handler with a trap at half-court, and turned every miss by J.Z. George into a race to the other end, overwhelming the Jaguars in a 73-30 rout Tuesday night in its home opener at the WVHS gym. (December 10, 2014, Page 2B)
