Oxford’s eighth-grade Chargers gained a measure of revenge Thursday night with a 42-37 win over Grenada in the OHS gym. The seventh-graders won 34-26 after being down seven points during the contest. Oxford’s middle school basketball season got off to a good start for the girls and boys swept Myrtle Tuesday night. The seventh-grade Chargers defeated Myrtle 28-11, while the eighth-graders won 37-17. Oxford’s seventh-grade Chargers won 26-7, while the eighth-grade Chargers won 25-11.
