Two members of the Ole Miss football team were named to the 2012 Southeastern Conference Preseason Coaches All-SEC Team today. Senior punter Tyler Campbell and junior defensive back Charles Sawyer both earned spots on the third team. This marks the ninth straight year of the SEC Coaches Preseason All-SEC Team. As the Ole Miss Rebel football team took the practice field for their first spring practice, Coach Hugh Freeze knew his team wouldn’t be perfect, but requested during the team meeting that they show maximum effort and attitude for all 15 days.

If they were, it’s hard not to think he wouldn’t come after Ole Miss junior Bryson Rose, who is the hottest kicker in the college game.
Ole Miss may not be producing a lot positive results on the field this season, but the native of Raleigh, N.C., has been completely the opposite. He continued his exceptional season by making two more field goals Saturday against Kentucky at Commonwealth Stadium. (more…) (November 7, 2011, Page 1B)
