Singer-songwriter-guitarist Cary Hudson took the stage at the Lyric on Thursday night during the free weekly Thacker Mountain Radio Show.

Hudson performed three “fiery guitar solos” and amused the audience with his ditty about searching worldwide for the perfect woman.

He was named a Top 10 Alt-Country guitarist by Gibson Magazine and 2013 Music Artist of the Year by Southland Music Line.

Hudson released his latest album “Ole Blue” on March 22.
