Getting ready for 2014 Run for Hope

It’s never too early to make plans for the annual Run for Hope Half Marathon and 5K. Editor Don Whitten talks with Race Co-Director Lynn Sloan about opportunities for runners, sponsors and volunteers for the race that’s set for Feb. 22. (October 30, 2013, Page 4)

Run for Hope offseason work going strong

Editor Don Whitten catches up with Sloan and other race organizers to get an update on their offseason efforts. (July 7, 2010, Page 4)

Run for Hope a community-wide event

Many local runners are taking part and many other citizens have volunteered for a wide variety of jobs at Saturday’s Run for Hope Half Marathon and 5-K run. Now, it’s time for the rest of us to do our part to cheer everyone on as they take part in a local event that helps a special cause at Camp Hopewell and could mean so much to the community. (February 24, 2010, Page 4)
