Would later Double Decker be any better?

After earning a reprieve from having to compete with the Ole Miss spring football game, now Double Decker officials are hearing from some local businesses that they’d like to see the local festival, always held on the final weekend of April, moved to a summer date. Grove Bowl-Double Decker conflict arises

OPINION – Who would ever have imagined that the annual Red-Blue spring football game, known as the Grove Bowl, would be scheduled on the same Saturday as the popular Double Decker Arts Festival? It has happened this year, however, and local businesses and merchants will have one less “big weekend” in the spring. (January 11, 2010, Page 4)
