Knight makes No. 8 Rebs walk-off winners
BLOG: Game 1 wasn’t the prettiest performance of the season for No. 8 Ole Miss.
Despite walking seven, and allowing two more Rhode Island batters to reach base via a HBP and an error, the Rebels rolled to an 8-1 victory Friday.

No. 13 Rebels hang tough to sweep No. 14 TCU
Mike Bianco wasn’t quite sure the 2012 Ole Miss baseball team could have won in the same fashion as the ‘13 edition just did.

Rebels scratch out 1-0 win on Opening Day
VIDEO BLOG: Baseball season is finally upon us.
With temperatures hovering in the low 50s and dipping into the 40s, the No. 13 Ole Miss baseball team will kick off the 2013 season with a familiar foe in the No. 14 TCU Horned Frogs.
First pitch today is set for 4 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday’s games are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. and noon starts.

Bianco names RHP Ellis Sunday starter
In recent years Ole Miss has seen pitchers Bobby Wahl and Mike Mayers perform well in support roles as freshmen before locking down spots in the weekend rotation.
Monday, Ole Miss head coach Mike Bianco officially named sophomore Chris Ellis the No. 3 starter — behind Wahl and Mayers — in the hopes he continues the trend this season.
Red takes Game 1 in extras

Rebels expect to be in field of 64 on Monday
HOOVER, Ala. — Asked how he felt the Rebels looked heading into Monday’s selection show, junior Alex Yarbrough replied as if Ole Miss’ inclusion into the field of 64 was a foregone conclusion, instead addressing the team’s offense as the team prepares to play in the NCAA Tournament.
