After surviving the single-elimination day of the Southeastern Conference Tournament, the sixth-seeded Rebels advanced to face third-seed Arkansas this morning at 9:30 a.m. for the second consecutive “breakfast game.”
Arkansas-Ole Miss will be televised on CSS. The game is matched up with today’s LSU/Alabama game. The losers play in an elimination game at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, while the winners will face off in the second game. (more…) (May 22, 2013)
When the Ole Miss outfielder turned down the Houston Astros’ offer this summer, he had already compiled a career batting average of .345 and was coming off of a career year in which he hit .359. VDEO BLOG: No. 23 Ole Miss found its scoring touch this weekend with the visiting Alabama Crimson Tide at Oxford-University Stadium. After scoring nine total runs during their six-game skid, the Rebels plated 11 in two games against the Tide.
