Hill: ‘Mississippi is my new home’

HOOVER, Ala. — A second trip to Oxford this summer paid off for Colquitt County defensive back Bobby Hill in the form of an Ole Miss scholarship offer. A little more than a month after he and some of his teammates from the Moultrie, Ga., area attended the first Ole Miss camp of the summer, Hill returned to participate in Ole Miss’ 7-on-7 camp Tuesday and ended up becoming the Rebels’ 15th verbal pledge for 2013.

The 6-foot, 163-pound Hill, who has been timed at 4.4 seconds in the 40-yard dash, said he was more comfortable at Ole Miss his second time around and after showing his skills as a wide receiver his first trip around, he made an even bigger impression on defense in various drills. (July 18, 2012, Page 6)
