County to launch public transit service

Lafayette County and the Retired Senior Volunteer Program have teamed up to offer county residents who are more than 65 years old or disabled, free transportation to grocery stores, doctor’s appointments, etc. The program begins Tuesday. An early Christmas present

D. Carroll Construction began work on the home of Lorine Clark yesterday as a Christmas present. The home was in need of some minor repairs and the company chose to do them for free as a community project. (December 23, 2010, Page 1A)
