Lady Rebels hold off LSU for third straight win

It was senior night for the Ole Miss women’s basketball team and it was appropriate that one of their three seniors play a role in the outcome of the game. With less than 10 seconds remaining forward Tia Faleru made two free throws to put the Rebels up 58-57 then were able to make a defensive stop on the other to defeat LSU by that score Thursday night inside C.M. ‘Tad’ Smith Coliseum. (February 27, 2015, Page 6)

Lady Rebels upset No. 13 Kentucky in rematch

The first contest between the Ole Miss women’s basketball team and No. 13 Kentucky went down to the wire with the Wildcats pulling away late. The story was the same Monday inside the Tad Pad as both teams battled back and forth but the ending was different as the Rebels upset the Lady Wildcats 67-59. It was also win No. 400 inside the ‘Tad Pad’ for the women’s program. (February 24, 2015, Page 6)

AUBURN, Ala. — Holding a slim 43-39 lead with 3:42 left in the contest, the Ole Miss women’s basketball team went to work on the defensive end and with clutch buckets from A’Queen Hayes and Tia Faleru, the Rebels held on for a 51-46 road win at Auburn — snapping a seven-game winless streak and guaranteeing the Rebels a winning record in the regular season and the possibility of a postseason berth — the first since 2009-10. (February 20, 2015, Page 6A)

Lady Rebels’ losing skid continues at Missouri

COLUMBIA, Mo. — Senior forward Tia Faleru scored 18 points and added 15 rebounds for her 30th career double-double, but the Ole Miss women’s basketball team couldn’t overcome the hot shooting Missouri team in a 72-58 road loss at Mizzou Arena on Sunday. (February 16, 2015, Page 6)

No. 1 Carolina too much for Lady Rebels

The Ole Miss women’s basketball team was up to the challenge but No. 1 South Carolina proved too much. The Lady Gamecocks preserved their perfect season for another game as they defeated Ole Miss 77-59 Sunday afternoon at C.M. ‘Tad’ Smith Coliseum. (February 2, 2015, Page 6, 7)

Lady Rebels fall at LSU

BATON ROUGE, La. — Birthday girl Danielle McCray was a bright spot in what amounted to a tough shooting night for the Ole Miss women’s basketball team in a 70-41 loss at LSU.  McCray posted 15 points and was a rebound shy of her third career double-double with nine rebounds to lead Ole Miss. (January 30, 2015, Page 6A)
