Rebs continue to overcome adversity

Rebels’ Perez not lost with Grade 1 MCL sprain
Ole Miss men’s basketball coach Andy Kennedy got encouraging news on the injury front Thursday afternoon. Less than 24 hours after leaving the Texas A&M game assisted by two trainers, freshman forward Anthony Perez’s feared leg injury turned out to be a Grade 1 sprain to his medial collateral ligament in his knee. Balanced offense leads Rebels past Aggies
Ole Miss may still not have defended like coach Andy Kennedy would have liked, but his Rebels’ most complete offensive game in a few weeks more than made up for that fact Wednesday night against Texas A&M. Ole Miss’ version of the “Big Three” — Marshall Henderson, Reginald Buckner and Murphy Holloway — combined to score 46 points in the 82-73 victory over the Aggies at C.M. “Tad” Smith Coliseum.
