Jenkins, Byrd unable to lift OM past Hogs

Lewisburg takes two games from LHS

A busy week of soccer got off to tough start for the Lafayette girls and boys teams Monday as both teams suffered losses to Lewisburg at William L. Buford Stadium.

Hinton, Watkins sign with NWCC

Lafayette’s Anna Watkins and Amanda Hinton extended their soccer careers Tuesday by signing letters of intent to play for Northwest Mississippi Community College and coach Peter Jarjoura.

Both girls felt comfortable about playing for the Lady Rangers and coach Jarjoura, as well as the new teammates they met during their official visit this three weeks ago. (December 8, 2010, Page 8)
