Carr dealing with tragedy of house fire

Yes, bad things do happen to good people. Just ask Janice Carr, whose home and all her belongings were destroyed last week in a fire. Three Person Scramble Golf Tournament

The Oxford Park Commission’s inaugural Double Decker Three Person Scramble Golf Tournament will begin at 8 a.m. Friday, April 23, at the Ole Miss Golf Club. Entry fee of $225 per team includes round of golf, cart and lunch sponsored by Abner’s. Prizes will be awarded for first-, second- and third-place finishers, plus longest drive, closest to pin and hole-in-one Jeep Wrangler from Chandler Motor & Nissan. All proceeds benefit Angel Ranch, shelter for abused children.
