Aldermen table band bus ordinance

The Oxford Board of Aldermen tabled approving an ordinance that would regulate where and when band buses Square events could park and sent it to the Oxford Downtown Parking Commission for their consideration. (November 7, 2012, Page 1)

Conference Center wants facelift

An interior designer recommended $400K worth of changes and upgrades for the Oxford Conference Center Thursday to the Oxford Tourism Council. Designer Courtney Jones said the changes do not have to be made all at once and the first change she recommended is getting new chairs for the center. (March 23, 2012, Page 1A)

Housing market rebounding?

City grants total $20K

The Oxford Tourism Council approved community grants to four events with a total of $20,000.
