OXFORD TOWN – Artists Andrew Blanchard, Charlie Buckley and Allan Innman are exhibiting their new work at Southside Gallery on the Oxford Square through April 30. Double Decker: Plan B

For the first time in its 15-year history, the Double Decker Arts Festival rescheduled the bulk of its festivities from Saturday to Sunday due to the threat of severe weather. The new music lineup re-arranges the slate of bands, from a one-day concert on two stages to a two-day concert on a single stage. Headliner Sharon Jones and The Dap-Kings are still performing Saturday night. Art booths and food vendors are to open on the Square Sunday starting at 10 a.m.

In pursuit of something different

A CONVERSATION WITH — Oxford native Allan Innman is following the Mud Daubers pottery-student group in gathering the Ole Miss Advanced Painters for a showing at this weekend’s Double Decker Arts Festival. Innman, a staff member in the UM Art Department, will be showing both landscapes and works from his most recent collection, a nostalgic treatment of childhood toys.
