Well-rounded ‘Backs invade O-U Stadium
It’s far from lonely atop the Southeastern Conference Western Division standings for the No. 13 Ole Miss baseball team.
In fact, the team they share first with, No. 14 Arkansas, will be in Oxford this weekend looking to not only separate itself from the Rebels, but also get even for last season.
A year ago, the Rebels traveled to Arkansas and swept the Razorbacks to earn a share of the SEC Title with LSU.
This weekend, expect the Razorbacks (35-10 overall, 14-7 SEC) to be looking for payback. (May 7, 2010, Page 6A)
Rebels brave elements, take Game 2 at MSU
STARKVILLE —On what turned out to be a rain-soaked Dudy Noble Field, it was the Ole Miss baseball Rebels that found a way to overcome the elements and take Game 2 of their series at Mississippi State, defeating the Bulldogs 12-10.

Rebels hit road to face MSU
The No. 16 Ole Miss Rebels will be looking to take their seven-game winning streak on the road beginning tonight when they travel to Starkville to face in-state rival Mississippi State.
Ole Miss will stick with its same rotation of Drew Pomeranz (6-0 overall, 1.90 ERA) and Aaron Barrett (6-2, 3.36), with Sunday’s starter yet to be named. (April 30, 2010, Page 6A)
Rebels rally late to win game, earn sweep
As Kevin Mort’s fly ball bounced into left field, and Taylor Hightower trotted safely home, LSU outfielder Leon Landry didn’t budge from his position. The damage had been done. The No. 18 Ole Miss baseball team will look to claim its second series in as many weeks this weekend when it travels east to face No. 5 South Carolina.

For the sixth week in a row, the No. 17 Ole Miss Rebels were unable to close out a weekend series on a high note, falling to the Georgia Bulldogs 6-3 at Foley Field on Sunday.
