Charity Golf Tournament
Camp Lake Stephens is hosting its third annual Charity Invitational Golf Tournament & Walk on Friday. Three Person Scramble Golf Tournament
The Oxford Park Commission’s inaugural Double Decker Three Person Scramble Golf Tournament will begin at 8 a.m. Friday, April 23, at the Ole Miss Golf Club. Entry fee of $225 per team includes round of golf, cart and lunch sponsored by Abner’s. Prizes will be awarded for first-, second- and third-place finishers, plus longest drive, closest to pin and hole-in-one Jeep Wrangler from Chandler Motor & Nissan. All proceeds benefit Angel Ranch, shelter for abused children. Entry deadline is Friday, with online registration at www.oxfordparkcommission.com or by calling Oxford Park Commission at 232-2380. KA Fight Night
Kappa Alpha’s annual boxing tournament Fight Night is back for the 10th year running, raising money and awareness for Muscular Dystrophy (MDA) and providing the Ole Miss community with one of the most memorable weekends of the spring. This year it will be held at the Lyric Oxford on Thursday and Friday, April 8-9. Over the course of the weekend, fighters will compete in three brackets, which include the lightweight and heavyweight divisions in the Inter-Fraternity bracket, the sorority bracket, and the open-to-the-public bracket.
