Oxford Planning Commission canceled
The regularly scheduled meeting of the Oxford Planning Commission which was set for today at 5 p.m. has been canceled. A new special meeting date has been set for March 29 at 5 p.m. in the Oxford High School Commons. Site plans for the new Oxford High School will be reviewed at a public hearing. International Women’s Day Panel
An International Women’s Day Panel will be presented at noon Monday in the Fulkner Room on the third floor of the J.D. Williams Library on the UM campus. Hosted by the Sarah Isom Center for Women & Gender Studies in honor of Women’s History Month, the panel will be moderated by Shilpa Shirur, who holds a master’s degree in leadership and counseling from Bombay, India. She will also be a panelist. Other panelists include Hunain Alkhateb, a Ph.D. student in engineering from Jordan, and Ana Kuzmanovi Jovanovi, assistant professor at the Department of Iberian Studies, University of Belgrade, Serbia, and visiting scholar at UM.
