Using our press

Put our production capabilities to work for your publication.

The Oxford EAGLE Inc. currently has six Goss Community Presses with an SC Folder. The press can run up to 17,000 copies an hour and has the capacity to run 24 pages of black/white pages in one run.

The EAGLE currently prints other weekly papers including The South REPORTER out of Holly Springs, The Pigeon Roost News out of Byhalia, Coffeeville COURIER out of Coffeeville, and The Calhoun County Journal out of Bruce. We also print all of the local high school papers as well as the paper from Rust College.

We are glad to bid on any printing job that relates to offset printing with our press. We can print different size papers as well as papers on “high bright” newsprint, which is a brighter and thicker grade than normal paper. The EAGLE, The LafaShopper News and The Oxford TOWN are all printed on 30-pound newsprint with 25-inch width.

For more information on how we might assist with your printing needs, or to set up a tour of our printing facility, please contact Tim Phillips.
