    ATLANTA- You had a good idea, but until you see it live, you just don’t really know. Ole Miss’ defense was the talk of fall camp.       Lady ‘Dores win region opener

      Lafayette high school volleyball coach Clint Jordan wanted to see more pressure put on the opposition with a faster pace of play. His Lady ‘Dores did just that, particularly in game one, in a 3-0 victory over Water Valley in the Class I-Region 2 opener for both teams Thursday evening at the LHS gym. (August 29, 2014, Page 3B)

                  Blue Devils edge Corinth in jamboree

                  The nerves showed at times for Water Valley’s Jonathan Kent. So did the flashes of potential. Saturday night’s jamboree went about as expected for the quarterback making his first start as the full-time signal caller as Water Valley beat Corinth 14-13. (August 18, 2014, Page 7)
