              WVHS holds on to top Vikings

              WATER VALLEY —It wasn’t pretty, but in the end the Water Valley Blue Devils did just enough to come away from Bobby Clark Field on Friday night with a 27-21 victory over the Class 4A North Pontotoc Vikings.

                Miller remains committed to Rebels

                Following Lafayette’s 28-6 victory over the Itawamba-AHS Indians I got a chance to catch up with Ole Miss commit Maikhail Miller.

                  Rishaw Johnson dismissed from Ole Miss football team

                  Following Thursday’s practice Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt confirmed that offensive lineman Rishaw Johnson has been dismissed from the football team and backup linebacker Brandon Sanders has been suspended indefinitely for breaking team rules. (more…) (September 9, 2010)
