    Sanders makes first appearance at practice

    With the season opener against Jacksonville State a little less than a month away, the Ole Miss football team has wasted no time hitting the practice field and slowly but surely the Rebels are getting their newcomers onto the field. The latest addition was freshman receiver Vincent Sanders.

      It’s go time: Rebel newcomers report, Masoli and more

      So today wasn’t exactly the first official day of Ole Miss football, but it’s close. Today was the first day newcomers were required to be on campus and Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt addressed the media at the Indoor Practice Facility to discuss the youngins, Jeremiah Masoli and more.               Former Rebel in serious condition

              An altercation at the Exchange Apartment complex early Saturday morning has left former Ole Miss baseball player Taylor Hashman in serious physical condition Sunday.

              Hashman is currently in the intensive care unit at The Med in Memphis. He underwent surgery to his head Saturday, according to a source, and was showing signs of improvement today. Hashman is in the hospital today after that early morning incident at his apartment complex. (more…) (August 1, 2010, Page 7)
