        Ole Miss Men’s Basketball Blog: AK updates Buckner’s status

        Senior forward Reginald Buckner will be available to play for the Rebels Wednesday night when they travel to play at Texas A&M. The 6-foot-9 Memphis native was issued a flagrant foul in the second half of  Ole Miss’ road game at No. 21 Missouri this past Saturday and did not finish. But because Buckner was not thought to have been fighting, he will not face a suspension, according to the Southeastern Conference’s office, which was in contact with Ole Miss coach Andy Kennedy Monday morning.           Oxford’s Adamson headed to Southern Miss

          BLOG — Whirlwind is about the only word that begins to describe the last week for Oxford High quarterback Parker Adamson.

          Eight days ago, it appeared that the 2012 Oxford EAGLE Player of the Year would be a preferred walk-on at Ole Miss. That was before he met recently hired Southern Miss coach Todd Monken, who offered the 6-foot-5 signal caller a scholarship today. (more…) (February 5, 2013)
