Three of Oxford’s best leaders and most productive players from the 2012 football season have decided to see if they can continue that success playing together two more seasons. Center Clifton Smith, defensive end Xavier Pegues and defensive tackle Joel Forrester, a trio that helped lead the Chargers to the semifinals of the MHSAA Class 5A playoffs in 2012, all signed with Itawamba Community College on Wednesday.
