        Oxford’s Barber pledges to Rebels

        A standout freshman season coupled with fantastic overall ability helped lead Oxford’s Jason Barber to a future with the Ole Miss Rebels. Barber, the 2013 EAGLE Player of the Year, decided to pledge to the Rebels and coach Mike Bianco Thursday night. (September 6, 2013, Page 7A)

              Former LHS standouts ready for fresh start

              BOONEVILLE — The second day of fall camp is set to begin on a particularly overcast Friday in Northeast Mississippi.

                  Former ‘Dores ready to get started at Northeast C.C.

                    Rebels garner pledge from Peach State DT

                    Ole Miss’ success in the state of Georgia on the recruiting trail in recent years benefited again Thursday. Chris Williams, a 6-foot-1, 288-pound defensive tackle from Sandy Creek High in Tyrone, Ga., felt right at home in Oxford due to all the Rebels who are originally from the Peach State.
