Lady ‘Dores get glimpse of future
AMORY — The Lafayette Lady Commodores may have gotten a glimpse of their future Thursday night.
Leading the home Amory Lady Panthers onto the pitch was senior Addie Forbus, a future Ole Miss soccer player fresh off setting the state’s career goal mark (228) last week.

DE Daniel gives Rebels another top prospect
Ole Miss’ run on highly rated football prospects continued over the weekend with a verbal pledge from four-star defensive end Elijah Daniel late Sunday night. The 6-foot-3, 260-pound native of Avon, Ind., chose the Rebels over Arizona State, the school he visited this weekend, Mississippi State and Florida, among others.
