LHS’s Dennis excited to join Lambuth
A chance to play a new position, as well as play for a four-year school relatively close to home, is what made Lafayette’s Austin Dennis chose Lambuth University Wednesday on National Signing Day. Dennis, a 6-foot-4, 215-pound tackle for the Class 4A state champion Commodores this season, said he was excited about the opportunity to play for the Jackson, Tenn., based school and play for Ron Dickerson, Sr., a well respected coach who was the head coach at Temple University. Hyland adds versatility to NWCC’s class
One of the most unsung members of Lafayette’s Class 4A state champion football team was senior offensive lineman Adam Hyland. Leading the list of standout players from Mississippi were South Panola wide receiver Nickolas Brassell (6-foot-1, 175 pounds, 4.4 seconds in the 40-yard dash), Philadelphia linebacker C.J.
