Oxford QB Abraham verbally commits to Tulane

It was a reward for the school as much as it was for himself. Oxford quarterback Jack Abraham has thrown for 7,000 yards and 72 touchdowns the last two seasons in the second-largest classification of Mississippi high school football. But the rising senior’s small stature at 5-foot-11 doesn’t have power conference schools believing he can play the position effectively at the next level. (April 26, 2015, Page 1B)

                Former LHS standouts ready for fresh start

                BOONEVILLE — The second day of fall camp is set to begin on a particularly overcast Friday in Northeast Mississippi.

                    Ole Miss players report; Brassell no longer on team

                    BLOG: Ole Miss players reported today for the start of fall camp. Highly touted athlete Nick Brassell was not among them.

                    According to an Ole Miss release, the former South Panola standout is no longer on the team.
