Oxford’s Liggins picks Bulldogs
BLOG — Darrius Liggins, one of Oxford High’s top defensive players in 2012, is headed to play at Mississippi State. The 6-foot-4, 240-pound defensive end was offered a scholarship from MSU coach Dan Mullen a week ago after a strong showing at camp. He accepted the offer to play for the Bulldogs earlier today. Greenville LB looking at Ole Miss
Greenville-Weston senior outside linebacker Gerri Green came to Ole Miss, along with his teammates, to participate in the Hugh Freeze/Ole Miss Rebels 7-on-7 passing camp Saturday. This was Green’s first look at the Rebels’ facilities, and he took it all in as he played games on the practice field, the Indoor Practice Facility and even Vaught-Hemingway stadium. BLOG — Ole Miss’ lead with Akeem Judd turned into a verbal pledge for the standout junior college running back.
