Lafayette boys basketball coach Teague Burchfield has resigned his position as boys basketball coach to pursue another job opening. His resignation letter was officially accepted by the Lafayette school board Tuesday night. His vacancy is apparently going to be filled by a coach already working at the school district, according to sources close to the situation. Burchfield coached LHS two seasons after being hired from Madison Central. (April 7, 2010)
A dominant pitching performance from Lewisburg’s Aaron Greenwood left Lafayette coach Greg Lewis a little bummed out on his birthday and the Commodores with their first Region 2-4A loss on the season.
