Just one day after landing Raleigh receiver Donte Moncrief, the Rebels added another commitment for the 2011 signing class. According to The Blog’s friends over at OMSpirit.com and RebelGrove.com, Taylorsville outside linebacker Marcus Mayers committed to Ole Miss this morning.

The Palmer-SalloumTennis Center on Ole Miss’ campus was getting plenty of work on Friday.
In town for a friend’s wedding, pro tennis star James Blake spent just over an hour at Ole Miss training.
“I know Ole Miss is a pretty darn good tennis school, so I knew they’d have someone around who would be able to hit with me,” said Blake following his practice session.
For the handful of tennis fans that were privy to Blake’s training with Ole Miss women’s assistant coach Jason Ontog, they couldn’t help but be impressed. (July 19, 2010, Page 7)
