Oxford’s knack for playing its best basketball in the postseason and winning division tournament titles under coach Drew Tyler continued Friday night as the Chargers knocked off West Point 71-61. The win not only secured a 10th championship trophy for Tyler in his 14 years of coaching at OHS, it also ensured a home playoff game Tuesday against Clarksdale a year after the Chargers had to travel to Ridgeland. At times this preseason the Ole Miss baseball Rebels have felt like they called Minneapolis home instead of Oxford.
