        Gibb wins battle of former OHS players

        OPC BASKETBALL — Beau Gibbs’ 11-12 year old Celtics defeated Rico McThune’s Cavaliers 34-26 in the Oxford Park Commission youth basketball matchup of two former Oxford High Charger standouts coaching against each other for the first time.               UM reschedules Grove Bowl

              Ultimately, University of Mississippi football coach Houston Nutt decided that scheduling three popular events on the same weekend was too much for the community to handle, so he decided this morning to move the date of the annual Grove Bowl.                 Grove Bowl-Double Decker conflict arises

                OPINION – Who would ever have imagined that the annual Red-Blue spring football game, known as the Grove Bowl, would be scheduled on the same Saturday as the popular Double Decker Arts Festival?
