        BLOG — Oxford make quick work of the Pearl Pirates Friday night at Bobby Holcomb Field. Another fast start on offense, in both the first and second half, coupled with some big stops on defense, resulted in the Chargers defeating the Pirates 39-21 in the MHSAA Class 5A playoffs.                   Lady Chargers fall to HHS on late FT

                  Oxford’s rally against an experienced Hernando team came up short Monday night in the OHS gym. The Lady Chargers fell behind by as much as 10 but came back to tie it two times in the final 20 seconds only to fall 64-63 to the Lady Tigers. (November 19, 2013, Page 7)
