Six players scored for the Oxford Park Commission’s 7-8 year-old Jazz, as hoops squad topped the Heat on Tuesday 22-2.
Channing Berry led the Jazz with eight points. In other 7-8 game on Tuesday, the Lakers topped the Grizzlies 24-6, while in the 9-10 league Grizzlies snuck past the Mavericks 8-7. The 10-12 Bears, the 8-9 Ravens and the 6-7 Jaguars all won respective titles in the inagural Mayors Championship Series held Monday night at FNC Park. The series culminated action in the Oxford Park Commission youth flag football leagues.
The Jaguars defeated the Bears 21-14, the Ravens downed the Chiefs 20-6, while the Bears got by the Giants 18-14.
