Discussion on the expansion of the John Leslie tennis complex is expected to continue on Tuesday at the Lafayette County Board of Supervisors meeting. The committee that has helped raise awareness for the tennis project was scheduled to be on the board’s agenda. Tuesday’s meeting will begin at 9 a.m. at the chancery court Building. Junior golfers of all ages can learn valuable skills at two summer camps offered at the Country Club of Oxford. Ricky Hamilton, head golf professional, and assistant Todd Abbott will lead the camps and instruct young golfers on various aspects of the game such as fundamentals, chipping, putting, full swing and etiquette.
